Garth M. Drozin
A 1987 graduate of Southwestern University School of Law, where he was a member of the Law Review, Garth has tried over 250 cases to conclusion, enjoying extraordinary success in verdicts, and over 90% of his motions for summary judgment have been granted. He is licensed to practice law in California, Massachusetts, and the District of Columbia. Garth has specialized in construction defect and accident, products, premises, and professional liability, medical malpractice, catastrophic injury, insurance coverage and claims handling, subrogation, employment, complex business and commercial litigation, contract law, copyright, use of likeness, intentional torts, and governmental agency/municipal representation, in state and federal courts. He has been a Judge Pro Tempore in eight courthouses, in two counties, for over twenty years, and has been a mediator and arbitrator of over one hundred cases. A former Fulbright Senior Professor/Scholar abroad, Garth was also Litigation Management Counsel for a large national insurance group for more than five years. Garth attended the graduate schools of Cornell University, University of North Texas, and the Universidad de Salamanca, Spain, yielding advanced degrees. He speaks Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and German.
